Top four duo in for Remy

Remy joined QPR in January 2013 from Marseille, but has spent the past season on loan at Newcastle United following his parent club's relegation to the Championship. The France international has scored 14 goals in 26 Premier League appearances for Newcastle and is wanted on a permanent basis at St James' Park. Newcastle boss Alan Pardew stated earlier this month that he was not resigned to missing out on Remy, but there is strong competition for his signature. Arsenal have been regularly linked with a bid for Remy and last month Arsene Wenger refused to rule out a summer offer for the 27-year-old. The FA Cup winners are now understood to have made an enquiry for Remy, who attended Arsenal's 1-0 home win over West Brom at the start of May. Liverpool are also thought to be interested in Remy as manager Brendan Rodgers looks to add quality to his squad ahead of the club's return to the UEFA Champions League next season.
