Clement keen on a top job
Fresh from helping Real Madrid to UEFA Champions League glory, Clement's future has again fallen under the spotlight. He has now worked alongside Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real, but harbours ambitions of one day stepping out on his own. Clement was heavily linked with a role at West Bromwich Albion following their dismissal of Steve Clarke, and is said to once again figure prominently on the Baggies' wish list as they look for a successor to Pepe Mel. A return to England could be on the cards for a man who has been coaching since the age of 23, although he admits he will find it difficult to tear himself away from life at one of world football's most iconic clubs. Asked if the time is right for him to become a boss in his own right, Clement said: "I think soon, it will be soon. "A few opportunities have come my way but this is a difficult place to leave. "It's a great club, a great city, a great tradition and it gives you an opportunity to win. "It's nice that I'll always be part of La Decima, that's nice." Clement claims he is willing to consider any offers put to him, with there no guarantee that he will look to head home. He added: "I wouldn't rule out anything if a nice opportunity came up in another country. "I've enjoyed working in France and Spain as well. But it's more than likely to be in England. "Carlo has given a lot of confidence to me and given me the belief that one day I can do it. But he hasn't kicked me out of the door yet."
