Adam Lallana delivers hope to Southampton fans he'll stay after cleaning up awards



Adam Lallana delivered Southampton fans a boost by saying he wants to keep moving forward with the club. The Saints talisman - linked with a move to Liverpool and Manchester United scooped four prizes at club's Player of the Year ceremony. Lallana won three awards for Player of the Year - voted for by the fans, the players and the away supporters club - and Goal of the Year for his mazy run against Hull City. I’ve been here since I was 12 and I want to keep progressing with the club,' he said. 'I’ve got a great relationship with the fans. We’ve been on a journey, and this is the icing on the cake.' Jake Hesketh won the Scolar of the Season, while Jack Cork won a new Presidents' Award. Lallana paid tribute to injured team-mate Jay Rodriguez. On recieving the Players' Player of the Year award, he said: 'I’m humbled to receive an award that’s been voted for by the rest of the lads. '[Rodriguez] had my vote tonight. If he’s watching we’re all grateful for what he did and we feel his pain.'
