Ashley Cole shed tears after fearing he has played his final game for Chelsea

Ashley Cole’s tears at Stamford Bridge were because the left back fears Sunday’s goalless draw against Norwich was his final home game for Chelsea. After eight years at the club, Cole is out of contract and unsure of his future. The 33-year-old has heard nothing from Chelsea about extending his stay and admits it is increasingly unlikely. Captain John Terry’s future is also unclear  and his programme notes read as if they might be his last.

Sochaux suffered relegation from Ligue 1 for the first time in their history after losing 3-0 to rivals Evian, while PSG ran out 4-0 winners over Montpellier.
